After a career in the British film industry and then with the Royal Bank in Argentina, Carlos became a Social Worker with a particular focus on gerontology and mental health.
Carlos worked as a Social Worker/Case Manager for the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (VCHA) in the Long Term Care Program for 30 years. He was privileged to be the VCHA liaison to ASK from 1986 to 2009, watching the Society grow from providing service a half-day a week to a 5-day-a-week program.
For the last 12 years, Carlos has worked as a Case Manager for the Holocaust Centre assessing the health needs of Holocaust survivors eligible for benefits from the German government.
Carlos joined the ASK Board in 2015 and is extremely inspired by the transformative growth that ASK has undergone, particularly over the last 3 years.
