Kim joined the ASK Board in 2021, and is a designer and animator specializing in scientific visualization and healthcare communication. After completing their BSc. Behavioural Neuroscience at the University of British Columbia, and MSc. Biomedical Communications at the University of Toronto, Kim returned to Vancouver to work at UBC. Their design practice focuses on creating interactive visuals, and animations to help make research dissemination, post-secondary education, and healthcare materials more accessible. Kim looks forward to using their design and research background to help communicate and support the incredible services that the ASK Friendship Society provides to the seniors in our community.
