How Can You Help?

The A.S.K. Friendship Society is a nonprofit organization. A.S.K. is one of several adult day programs funded by the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. The Health Authority provides 85% of the funding for the A.S.K. program while the remainder is achieved through fundraising and community donations.

Quality programs don’t come free. Donations are gratefully accepted for hiring specialists such as music therapists, art therapists, as well as providing the staff with opportunities to get on-going training. We also use donated funds to keep our vans running smoothly and to take members on community outings. Through donations, we recently purchased a new 18 passenger wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Four times a year we communicate with our “Friends of ASK” through our quarterly newsletter. Click here to view newsletter. If you would like to be a Friend, please contact us at caring@askcentre.ca
